Family Management Team
In the early 1990's, just as Jim had hoped, his two sons, Jeff and Gary joined Precision - each one focusing on a
different aspect of the business. Jeff started by bringing computers to the production floor and Gary was brought on
to plate heart catheters for Precision's first major medical program. Jeff and Gary have been with Precision for a
combined 30 years of experience. "I loved the way we were so closely tied to the technology all over the world and
to run my own business someday had always been a personal goal," said Jeff.
Gary felt a career at Precision would be a great way to combine his art school background with his passion for plating. He sees a
similarity between the two. "Plating to me is more of an art form. Each time something is plated, I feel instant gratification," explains Gary.
Gary is now acting as President of Precision and is responsible for the overall direction of the business and it's day-to-day operation.
Jeff is the Vice President of Administration with responsibility for Marketing, Human Resources, Purchasing and Information Technology.
Jim is the Chairman of the Board and works with Gary and Jeff to support the professional management team.
By utilizing the hundreds of years of metal plating experience in the building, and with a solid continuous improvement practice in place,
Precision will undoubtedly lead the industry for the next hundred years.
